A summer day at the beach
Make a summer day at the beach an active day, by playing beach volleyball. The Hague has many places, where to play beachvolley. There are also many tournaments to join.
On a summar holiday there can be a lot of traffic to the beach, but the beaches are wide enough for many visitors. At Scheveningen beach, south of the light house, is a good place to settle your own net. Or join one of the groups that already put up a net. You can also rent a court from the Beachvolleybalschool.

Beachvolley Trainings
The Hague has several providers of trainings for beach volleyball. The trainings are in the summer on the beaches and on special beach courts. In the winter the trainings are indoor. The Hague has 2 indoor beach halls. Yes, it's indoor, so you can train whole year round!

Beachvolley Tournaments
Nearly every week you can join a beachvolley tournament. In the summer the tournaments are on the beaches, at Houtrust or at The HUB. In the winter the tournaments are indoor at Lindo Beach or Sports Campus Zuiderpark.

- BVS FUN toernooien, nearly every month a tournament, the whole year round, for starters up to advanced players
- Lindo 2x2 mix-toernooien, nearly every month a tournament, from october until april, for levels low to high
- Summer Beachcircuit, in the summer months, tournaments in the weekends, for all levels
Summer Beach Volleybal Circuit
The biggest beachvolley event at the beach, with 50 to 100 beach courts, and many visitors.
Started 30 years ago, grown bigger, and now there are tournament for all levels, from starters to the top. Also visitors from other countries come specially for the Beachcircuit. The event takes place at the North Beach of Scheveningen and at Kijkduin Beach.
